Thank you LA! Last weekend our 5th Annual Holiday Show brought record numbers - over 22,000 people shopped local, made-in-America designs and enjoyed the show. Last month (and for the first time ever) we held the UNIQUE Movie Nights at our very own office. Aside from a pretty impressive crowd of people, we were excited about the amount of people dressed head to toe just like the characters in Boogie Nights (little to no clothing and roller-skates). Earlier this week I had the chance to talk to Jeff Staple about his PROJECT/reed exhibition at the PROJECT tradeshow in Las Vegas. Watch Jeff talk about his curation being a collection of artifacts of street culture. He's so right on about the fact that most of us never get to actually see/feel a lot of the things we read about on blogs and in magazines; the time and effort that it takes to make these things are lost. PROJECT/reed in a way was a tool to bring the digital and virtual to the physical world.
